Understanding the curriculum
Physical, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education and later Citizenship, is taught in all key stages to give your child the knowledge, understanding and social and practical skills to live a healthy and safe life as every child's wellbeing and personal development is of the utmost importance to us.
The government has introduced statutory changes in 2019 to ensure Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) along with Health Education is taught from the academic year 2020-2021. The guidance focuses on maintaining healthy relationships and keeping children safe as well as topics covering physical and mental health and safeguarding.
